Mary Shelley’s novel, Frankenstein, published in 1819, had a lasting effect on the collective imagination. Romanyshyn identifies archetypal patterns in this story and shows how they continue to prophesy issues in contemporary scientific-technological culture. Can technology be the Frankenstein of our age?

Robert Romanyshyn received his doctorate of clinical psychology from Duquesne University. He is the author of six books, numerous chapters in edited volumes, and many journal articles. He has also presented lectures and workshops across the U.S., Canada, Europe, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. Learn more at RobertRomanyshyn.com.
