Workshop: February 21, 2004 - The Power of Image
Lecture: Scripture, Meditation and Inner Life
James Hillman has asserted that Freud and Jung were probably the last psychologists who could develop their insights from the Bible. Dr. Brown will show that the recent insights into the function of language and the place of sound in Biblical translation make this judgment premature.
Workshop: The Power of Image: Using the Bible to Illustrate Jung’s Vision
This workshop will be an experiment to show whether or not Biblical texts from a vastly different world than ours can still touch and transform our human hearts.
Christ Church Crump Room, 3602 - 8th Street SW, Calgary
$15 (non-members); $10 (members, guests & students)
