What’s the Secret of "The Secret"?
Can you really have whatever you want?

"You are the creator of your destiny."  This statement captures the essence of the popular contemporary film, "The Secret".

Through film clip, group discussion and analysts' presentation, we will explore the major threads and underlying assumptions of this New Age thinking and compare and contrast it with Jungian thought.  Some of these threads are the:

• Relationship of ego with Self and with other
• Difference between feeling and emotion
• Process and meaning of suffering
• Opposites contained in wholeness
• Limitations of cause-effect in relation to meaning
